Aozora Japanese Restaurant

Nice Japanese restaurant in Pokhara. A bit of centre but definitely worth the visit. You are welcomed with a small cup of Japanese tea and they have everything. Price is okay expect to spend for a dinner around 1k per person

Surprisingly good Japanese cuisine. Had the tempura set, which came with nice sides. The vegetable tempura was interesting and not bad, while the prawns could have been fresher. Also tried the sesame cold ramen. Came with a very generous serving of chicken. Worth trying!

Four year back it was my top one restaurant in Pokhara, I ate here more than 10 times always felt so tasty and satisfied. This restaurant is one of the reasons I decided to visit Pokhara again, but I was so disappointed because their food lost something very important....steamed rice was so so (before was superb), fried veg+tofu was terrible, super oily and more liked awful Chinese food (that's why I said the food lost something important because they made Japanese food becoming Chinese food with awful taste). :/ Two stars is for the same good service, from the same boss and staff.
